Parties are one hour, during students’ specials period (with the exception of 4th grade, which will be at the end of the day) Classes will rotate every 10 minutes between homeroom, music, art, and PE, with 5 minutes transition time.
The schedule is as follows:
10:00 – 11:00 2nd Grade
11:05 – 12:05 3rd Grade
12:35 – 1:35 Kindergarten
1:40 – 2:40 1st Grade
2:45 – 3:45 4th Grade
We welcome all parents/grandparents to attend our parties. However,
to attend the party, you MUST pre-register as a volunteer & have a completed background check. If you have not visited the school this year, please do so to have your license scanned, so that a badge can be pre-printed and ready for you at check-in.
If you are not pre-registered, you will be directed to the front office, where you will wait for a badge to be printed.
If you have not completed a background check prior to the party, you will not be able to attend the party.
Once badged, you will be assigned to a classroom as a volunteer for the duration of the party.
When registering, you will choose a position in the art room, gym, or music room, where you will assist to keep the party running smoothly for the entirety of the party. Volunteer assignments are simple, and there is plenty of time for you to interact with your child during their rotation in your classroom.
FOR SECURITY AND CROWD CONTROL PURPOSES,
ONLY HOMEROOM PARENTS WILL BE ALLOWED TO ROTATE WITH CLASSES.
Your job will depend on what room you volunteer in. Specials Teachers and PTO Members will be available to help direct volunteers, but essentially you are to help students as needed, and help to keep the parties running smoothly.
We are excited about our new format. Parties are designed to be fun, interactive experiences for the students. We appreciate your patience and consideration as we implement the new party plan. If you have additional questions, feel free to email email@example.com
As a team, the Willow Creek Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) works tirelessly to ensure that our children receive a great education in a fun and nurturing environment. Our first role as parents is, of course, our children; and, the more involved we are, the more influence we have in creating a great educational experience for them. There is no greater reward than seeing a smile on a child’s face as a result of our efforts! We do not charge a membership fee - anyone and everyone is welcome to participate in PTO events.
Your participation in the PTO as a Committee Chair, a Committee Volunteer, or a PTO Board Member allows you to get to know the staff at the school, and become more knowledgeable about how our school operates. It gives you an opportunity to work in partnership with the school administration to make our school unique.
As with all PTOs, one of our major objectives is to raise the necessary funds to support our school. We ask for your generous donations through your participation in our two major fundraisers, Boo Bash in the Fall, and our Spring Fundraiser, Run Wild at the Creek. The money we raise through our fund raising activities goes towards the school’s evolving needs to help better the experience for each and every child.
